The day started normal enough. Lincoln was born today at 12.44. He was 20 1/2 inches long and 8lbs 12oz. Overall he is healthy.
Later this afternoon the doctor checked on him and he is breathing is too fast. He's got some fluid on his lungs still. According to the nurses this is not uncommon for a c-section. However because of this along with his temperature being too high we've not been able to hold or feed him since leaving the recovery room.
Then about 6 p.m. tonight LaDawna began feeling some serious pain around her incision. Her doctor came up and looked at her and she has a blood clot and has lost a lot of blood. They have put her completely under to open her back up clean up the blood that has leaked inside and find the cause if they can.
They say this is not uncommon but all combined along with history we are on edge to say the least. We ask you pray for us that all comes under control and tomorrow we can hold our new boy.
